Dasari receives Allu Ramalingaiah national award!
Yuva Kalavahini organised a grand gala function to accord the national award in the name of Dr Allu Ramalingaiah to Dr Dasari Narayana Rao on behalf of Dr Allu Ramalingaiah Kala Peetham. It may be recalled here that Dasari Narayana Rao was admitted to the KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad following some respiratory problem. There is some infection in his lungs and that was removed by holding a button-hole surgery to his chest. Dasari is still in hospital under medical treatment and to be discharged soon.
The Yuva Kalavahini held the function at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Mega Star Chiranjeevi attended the function as chief guest and handed over the award to Allu Aravind and Saripalli Kondala Rao on behalf of Dasari Narayana Rao, as he could not move from the hospital bed. Other heroes from the Mega family – Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish and Dr D Venkateswara Rao besides Brahmanandam also attended the function as the guests of honour. Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Kamineni Srinivas, G Jagadiswara Reddy also attended the function. On this occasion, Chiranjeevi had announced the launching of Allu Academy of Arts.
