CM repeats challenge, asks Oppn to prove charge or face punishment
Hyderabad, March.15 : Reiterating that he would quit if the Opposition parties proved even a single allegation against his government, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said in the Council that the State government was contemplating to bring a law to initiate stringent action against those who make baseless charges. He also asserted that the State government checked political corruption and there were no scams in the State.
Speaking on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s speech in Legislative Council here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said his government was moving forward transparently. The government would purchase 88 lakh sheep and give 21 sheep to each Yadav family to eke out livelihood. The number of sheep procured and distributed to Yadavas would reach 4.5 crore within two-and-a-half years and the beneficiaries would get Rs 20,000 crore revenue. The Chief Minister said the State would transform Yadava community as rich in the country. The sheep in 600 trucks were coming to the State every day from other States.
Pointing out that while only 19 Gurukul Schools were established in the State in the 60-year Congress rule, the Chief Minister alleged that the TRS government set up 119 gurukul schools within two-and-a-half years after TRS came to power. The Chief Minister revealed that the state government was spending Rs 1.25 lakh on each student pursuing education in the Gurukul schools in the State.
