Allari Naresh to play hero in a Malayalam remake
The name of Allari Naresh was once a synonym for comedy hero. He earned a good name as a comedy hero after Rajendra Prasad. Instead of trying to get a mass hero or family hero image, Allari Naresh decided to continue as comedy hero and he became a successful hero and gave a confidence to all his producers that doing a film with Allari Naresh will be a minimum guarantee movie. However, such a hero has become a flop hero with successive flops. Moreover, the death of EVV Satyanarayana, father of Naresh too, cast a shadow on him a lot.
Now, with a firm view to bag a hit at any cost, he agreed to play hero in a Malayalam movie ‘Oru Vaddakkan Selfie’ with the title ‘Meda Meeda Abbayi’. The basic plot of the story is nothing but comedy and basically the film runs with the help of god screenplay and nothing more. Hopefully the film would bring luck and cheers on the face of Allari Naresh. The entire movie revolves around an innocent youth, who gets into trouble after he clicks a selfie with a girl in a train.
Nivin Pauly of ‘Premam’-fame played the lead role and same director G Prajith is ready to take charge of direction of the Telugu version as well. The director made some changes here and there to the story and the director is confident that he made changes here and there to suit the nativity. Chandrasekhar Boppana had come forward to make a hit flick with Naresh in Telugu. He is going to bankroll this flick on Jahnavi films banner. Nikhila Vimal is playing the female lead opposite Naresh, while Aadi is playing the role of Naresh’s friend, who is an important character.
