TRS MLC nominees pay homage to Martyrs, file papers before Legislature Secy

Hyderabad, March.7: TRS candidates for MLC posts from MLA quota today visited Gun Park Martyrs’ Memorial and paid homage before filing their nomination papers.

MLC candidates Gangadhar Goud, Elimeneni Krishna Reddy and Mynampalli Hanumanth  Rao, after garlanding the memorial, proceeded to the Legislature in a procession and submitted their nomination papers to the Legislature Secretary. They were accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, ministers K Taraka Ramarao, Nayani  Narasimha Reddy, Etela Rajender, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T. Padmarao Goud, GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Deputy Mayor Fasiuddin  and others.

            Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy said the ruling party has highest majority in the Legislative Council. Stating that three MLCs from the MLAs quota and two MLCs from the Governor’s quota would enter into the Upper House, Nayani said the majority of the TRS would increase further in the Council with the election of new MLCs. In the MLAs quota, three candidates --- Mynampalli Hanumanth Rao, Alimineti Krishna Reddy and Gangadhar Goud filed nominations today.

Nayani blasts Uttam for “insane” talk
 
        Stating that all sections of the people in the State were solidly behind Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his unique programs for the benefit of all of them, the Home Minister said the Congress leaders were talking rubbish like lunatics due to jealousy and visualize their party’s burial in the near future. While AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Digvijaya Singh indirectly showered praises on the KCR government for launching historic programs, Telangana Pradesh Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy has been confusing the people by speaking utter lies, Nayani said and advised the Congress leaders not to speak lies.

            Adverting to the Telangana Telugu Desam party, the Home Minister said one “Budderkhan” in that party was talking like an insane person. He also lashed out at the Communist parties for making meaningless criticism against the government and extend whole-hearted cooperation for the monumental progress and welfare of the people in the State.
