Sena's Anil Desai to join Modi cabinet
Mumbai, Nov 8: BJP and Shiv Sena on Saturday seem to have resolved their differences with the latter nominating Rajya Sabha member Anil Desai to be included in the central cabinet when Prime Minister Narendra Modi expands his ministry Sunday. Shiv Sena appears to have accepted a power-sharing arrangement in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray had initially decided that his party will not recommend any name to be included in the Modi cabinet unless talks at the state level reach a conclusion, a senior Sena MP said. Now that the talks are in a conclusive mode, Sena has changed its stand. Sena chief has decided to recommend Anil Desai's name for inclusion in the cabinet tomorrow, the MP said. He also said the Sena chief will decide on the second name for inclusion in the central cabinet by evening.
