BJP MLC Ramchender Rao bereaved; KCR, BJP leaders mourn
Hyderabad, Feb.20: N. Savithri, wife of Hyderabad City BJP president and party floor leader in Telangana Legislative Council N. Ramchender Rao, passed away at her residence at Tarnaka here on Monday after a brief illness. She was 53.
On hearing the news, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his sympathy and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, State BJP president Dr K Laxman, national BJP general secretary P Muralidhar Rao, BJP floor leader in the Assembly G Kishan Reddy, national BJP leader Nallu Indrasena Reddy and others expressed shock over the demise of N Savthri. State minister T Harish Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav went to his residence and consoled N Ramchender Rao.
In a statement here on Monday, the BJP leaders stated that Savithri was very helpful to her husband Ramchender Rao, who frequently travels over party activities and for finding solutions to people’s burning problems. Her death dealt a heavy blow to Ramchender Rao, a busy politician. They conveyed their sympathy and heart-felt condolences to Ramchender Rao and his family members. They prayed God to give peace to the liberated soul.
