Cherry’s next to be titled ‘Mogalturu Monagadu’?
It is well aware that the upcoming film of Ram Charan in the direction of Sukumar will have village in its backdrop. Sukumar penned a story with a love story that had occurred in 1980s and is planning to portray the way the youth used to propose their love towards the girls. This variety subject will have a Konaseema backdrop and the shooting of the film is about to be launched.
First the director proposed to shoot the film in Konaseema area to present the nativity. However, the police failed to give permission stating that they can’t control the youth disturbing the shooting as the hero is from the Mega family. So, the shooting is now planned in Pollachi and other such places in Kerala which have some similarities of Konaseema area.
When it comes to the title, first Sukumar considered the title ‘Palleturi Premalu’ and later changed it to 'Palleturi Monagadu'. Now, the film unit is considering the title ‘Mogalturu Monagadu’ because Chiranjeevi’s origin has some links with the village with a view that the audiences, especially the youth would connect well if the title is like this.
Already the first look of the film was released with Cherry carrying two brass pots and it gives a feel that it would be a concept-oriented movie. In order to appear in a different manner, Cherry is developing his beard. Not only that Cherry would be playing the role of a deaf man in this movie and for the first time Samantha is playing opposite Cherry.
