Would love to again work with Nani: Trinadha Rao
Chennai, Feb 11 : Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina says he wouldn't miss a second opportunity to work with actor Nani, with whom he had recently collaborated for Telugu romantic-comedy "Nenu Local".
Buoyed by the success of the film, Rao told IANS: "I'm relieved that the film has been received very well. The credit for the success should go to Nani and my producers. I enjoyed working with Nani so much that I would love to collaborate again."
"Nenu Local" released in cinemas on February 2, and according to the makers, the film collected a share of Rs 23 crore worldwide in the first week.
Rao believes Nani has all the qualities to be a hero of the masses.
"With 'Nenu Local', he has appealed to the masses. His voice and body language, in my opinion, are best suited for mass-appealing characters and his role in the film is proof to it," he said.
Asked if he has a script ready for Nani, he said: "I don't have anything fresh. I usually don't write keeping any actor in mind. Because, when you do, then the actor's image doesn't allow you to write freely and that's an issue."
