Revanth to launch people's movement against KCR

Hyderabad, Feb.9: Working President of Telangana State TDP A. Revanth Reddy declared that his party would wage a war against the anti-peoples policies of TRS and its Government.
Taking strong exception to a report published in Sakshi newspaper that TDP was sending feelers to TRS for a merger, Revanth Reddy on Thursday in a statement asserted that as a matter of fact TRS was his party’s enemy number one and it would strive hard to unseat KCR for all his misdeeds and anti[-people policies.

Soon after returning from New Delhi Revanth Reddy launched a tirade against TRS and KCR. He charged that those who had sacrificed everything and took part in the Telangana movement and even lost their jobs and properties were sidelined, while KCR was amassing wealth, launched his own newspapers and television, acquired hundreds of acres to build a farm house. He reminded that KCR joined hands with the Congress in 2004 and then ditched the party and similarly in 2009 he had allied with the TDP in the name of Grand Alliance and later dumped it.

Revanth Reddy went hammer and tongs against KCR by alleging that due to his anti-farmer policies the ryots were forced to commit suicides, failed to implement the fee reimbursement for students and thus playing with the academic career of the students. He also accused KCR of not fulfilling any of the promises made in the TRS manifesto. Even the central funds were being diverted for other scheme and the same was brought to the notice of the central government, he added.

He announced that the Telangana TDP was commence “Praja Poru” ( Peoples Movement) from February 11 to expose the misdeeds and anti=people , anti-students and anti-farmers policies of the TRS Government and Chief Minister KCR. “ Our party’s main objective is to free the Telangana State and its people from the autocratic and dictatorial rule of KCR”, he declared and added that there was no  question of TDP trying to align, leave alone merger, with TDP.
