TS to enact special law for women's safety

Hyderabad, Nov 6: Government of Telangana is mulling strategies to protect women. The government will soon enact a low for this purpose in the ongoing assembly session. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had earlier in the day held a review meeting with the task force committee headed by Director General of Police and other senior police officials on the issue. Earlier, the committee had submitted a 62-page report to the Telangana government to focus on 28 key issues. The chief minister is reported to have asked the state police to initiate strict action against eve teasers and those harassing women at work places.
