Harish, Yanamala vow to find amicable solution

Hyderabad, Feb.1 : Finally decks are cleared to sort out amicably the issues of two Telugu States with Governor ESL Narsimhan holding a key meeting at Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday. The Governor has advised to avoid moving court as that will further delay the process to find solutions to the existing common problems.

Narasimhan asked to hold another meeting at the same venue on February 9 to find amicable solutions followed by a few more meetings including one in Vijayawada. Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have agreed upon for holding frequent meetings to find solution to the problems cropped out of bifurcation. The meeting attended from Telangana including Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy and government Advisor Vivek. From Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu, Labour Minister K Atchan Naidu and chief whip K Srinivasulu.

Later, Harish Rao told media persons that both states have agreed to discuss and find mutual solution for the issues. We hope that next few meetings will sort out the issues as the AP Government is keen to address the common problems he said. Ramakrishnudu also agreed to discuss in a conducive atmosphere to find solutions to prove handy. It is likely that a meeting will be held at Vijayawada he said.
 
Issues to be discussed are river water sharing, construction of projects, power, bifurcation of assets as per schedule 9 and 10 of AP Bifurcation Act and others.
