Nagarjuna's next did a superb pre-release business
Akkineni Nagarjuna's Om Namo Venkatesaya is gearing up for release on February 10th. The movie did a superb pre-release business worldwide. It was sold for Rs 24.65 crores in AP/TS, Overseas - 5.5 crores, Karnataka - 2.7 crores and the Rest of India for 80 lakhs. The total worldwide Theatrical rights sold for Rs 33.65 crores.
On the other hand, the satellite rights were bagged by ETV for a whopping amount of Rs 12.5 crores. Lahari music acquired the audio and digital rights for the amount of Rs 1.1 crores. The total worldwide pre-release business of Om Namo Venkatesaya is Rs 47.25 crores. This is really a good amount for this Devotional movie.
Directed by Raghavendra Rao, the movie has Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal, Vimala Raman, Jagapathi Babu and Sourabh playing the key roles. Music composed by M M Keeravani and it was produced under Sai Krupa Entertainment banner.
