Minister pulls up officials on civic amenities

Hyderabad, Jan.28 : Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav today expressed displeasure at the officials for negligence and not attending to the complaints related to basic amenities in his Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency.

The minister made a visit to his constituency and interacted with the people at Fathe Nagar flyover, Ashok Colony, SNMR Colony, Subhash Nagar, Kailash Nagar, Saibaba Nagar, Jayaprakash Nagar. When the people came up openly about problems of civic amenities, Srinivas Yadav got furious at the officials. He warned the officials of serious measures for their negligence.

The Minister directed that gardening works through planting saplings be taken up by removing piled up garbage. He also pulled up the officials on the issues such as water, power, clean and green and garbage being dumped at public vicinity. The people poured in their woes on these issues and the minister asked the officials concerned to immediately fix the problems like removing electric polls with rust posing danger of any accident.

Srinivas Yadav asked for uninterrupted power, supply adequate distribution of waters to the households and timely sanitation drive. Expressing discontent at the officials, he asked to fix the problem of drainage overflow at Kailashnagar and Subhashnagar areas by a new pipeline in one month. He also asked the officials to take steps for removal of high tension electric wires besides attending to other issues of basic amenities. The minister claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was giving top priority to provide basic amenities to the people. “Soon steps will be taken to construct a multi-purpose sports complex as all permissions were issued. His padayatra was to help the people address their problems on the spot”, he added.
