Ram Gopal Varma opposed government's move on Jallikattu!
Ram Gopal Varma is back yet again to react in his own style on Jallikattu. After several protests in Tamilnadu, the central government came down and issuing a special ordnance on Jallikattu. Ram Gopal Varma is silent during the issue and now opposes the government's move on allowing Jallikattu.
He tweeted "Govt restricts filmmakers to show even crow or dog but allows bulls to be brutally harassed for cultural entertainment #jaijallikattu"
He further compared Jallikattu to barbarism and added that protesting against the brutality of Jallikattu is same as worshipping the feudal culture of Jayalalitha and Sasikala.
He tweeted "Protesting against barbarism of #jaijallikattu is very much in tune with worshipping tribalish/feudal culture of Jayalalitha and Sasikala"
Finally, he says that one can't hide the truth that innocent animals were harmed for the pleasure of the people in the name of Tradition Jallikattu.
He tweeted "Just by giving it name of culture #jaijallikattu cannot escape from it's true tradition of torturing innocent animals for people's pleasure"
