NTR Trust To Conduct Legendary Blood Donation Drive on Jan.18

Hyderabad: NTR Trust is organizing “Legendary Blood Donation Drive” in memory of the Telugu Icon late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on January 18, which is his 21st death anniversary.

Speaking to the Media at NTR Trust Bhavan, Trustee Nara Bhuvaneswari said “Legendary Blood Donation Drive was started as a flagship event by NTR Trust, in memory of legendary actor-cum-politician  NTR, to promote voluntary blood donation across the twin Telugu States.” Legendary Blood Donation Drive was started as a commemorative event last year on NTR’s 20th death anniversary and was conducted at 145 locations across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “We are trying to expand the scale of Legendary Blood Donation Drive this year. This is the best tribute we could pay to  NTR” remarked Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari. She also said, “At NTR Trust, we sincerely believe that events like these are essential to bring awareness about voluntary blood donation across the spectrum of the

society.”

Speaking about Legendary Blood Donation Drive, CEO of NTR Trust T. Vishnu Vardhan said, “We are already receiving tremendous response from hundreds of locations”. Other than NTR Trust Blood Banks, Indian Red Cross, Lions, Rotary, Government, Arohi, Chiranjeevi and various other Blood Banks are taking part in this event. “We are thankful to all these Blood Banks and Local Camp Organizers for making Legendary Blood Donation Drive an inclusive event.”

Legendary Blood Donation Drive will be formally inaugurated at NTR Trust Bhavan by Nara Bhuvaneswari and Nara Brahamani on January 18 at 10am in Telangana. Nara Lokesh will be formally inaugurating Legendary Blood Donation Drive at Siddhartha Management College grounds in Vijayawada at 10 am on that day where the prototype of NTR Museum exhibition is up for display until January 25”.
