T budget gets mixed reactions

Hyderabad, Nov 5: Telangana TDP MLA R Krishnaiah Wednesday criticised Telangana government's maiden budget and alleged that budgetary allocations have not been made properly. He then went on to say the Telangana government had totally failed to meet the concerns on some key issues. He alleged that interests of BC groups have been totally sidelined despite several appeals made to the government on the issue. He also remarked that Telangana government has failed to focus on the fee-reimbursement issue of students in the budget. Speaking to media persons, TRS leader Jupally Krishna Rao said the budget was very well planned under the supervision of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Jupally said that the budget is free from any political glitch. He expressed confidence that the budget will fulfill the concerns of all sections of people in the state. Former PCC chief D Srinivas faulted Telangana government saying it has ignored the sacrifices made by Telangana people. Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Srinivas recalled the sacrifices made by several youth during the agitation for separate statehood. He said the government has forgotten the Telangana martyrs and others who have sacrificed their lives. Meanwhile, TRS MLA Konda Surekha said the budget is very transparent and has been prepared taking all aspects into account. She expressed confidence that the budget will be useful to people of all sections unlike the previous budgets. She said that special allocations have been made to TS martyrs, agriculture sectors, women and children.
