Mohanlal's Ambitious Project 'Randamoozhan' @Rs.600cr!

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal is set to work in the most ambitious and expensive moive of his career. 

According to Manorama's report Superstar Mohanlal would leave mainstream movies in a few years after completing this mega project. Randam Oozham (which means Second Turn) is a MT Vasudevan Nair's novel which tells Mahabharata from king  Bhima's perspective.

This movie is supposed to made with a whooping budget of Rs.600crs. If 'Randamoozhan' gets going, it would stand as the costliest movie to be made in the history of Mollywood industry. The latest reports suggest that this will commence from Dec 2017.

Pulimurugan, the last outing of Mohanlal, which was made with Rs.25cr budget has collected Rs.100cr and recorded as 1st Malayalam movie to cross Rs.100cr.

In the past three decades of his filmy career Padma Shri Mohanlal appeared in 300 Malayalam movies along with few Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movie. This 56yr old actor bagged four National Film Awards and many international & state awards.
