CLP Tables Privilege Move Against CM KCR

Hyderabad: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has served privilege notice under Assembly Rule 168 on CM KCR here on Thursday alleging that the latter was misleading the House.

The CLP, in its notice, alleged that the Chief Minister misled the House during the discussion on Fees Reimbursement Scheme and handed over the notice to the Speaker. The CLP, in its notice, reminded that the Chief Minister assured the House that the State government would clear all fees reimbursement scheme funds by April 2016.

The CLP also said that the Chief Minister earlier said that the government will pay the fees reimbursement funds every month but the same Chief Minister said on January 4, 2017 that it was not possible to pay 100 percent funds. They pointed out in their notice that the Chief Minister assured earlier one but the same Chief Minister differing with the same now. “It is nothing but breach of privilege”, the CLP mentioned in its notice.

The CLP leader K Jana Reddy, MLAs G Chinna Reddy, T Jeevan Reddy, SA Sampath Kumar, N Padmavathi Reddy, Ch Vamshichand Reddy and others signed on the notice. It may be recalled that the CLP also served privilege notice against the KCR in 2016 too.
