OU Gets Nod For Conducting SET Exam

Hyderabad: Based on the recommendations of the Accreditation Committee, which visited the University recently, the University Grants Commission has granted accreditation to Osmania University, Hyderabad for conducting SET(State Eligibility Test) examination.

Permission is granted to conduct SET examination once in a year during the next three years period in 29 subjects. University Grants Commission made it clear that the SET Agency has to strictly follow the UGC guidelines while conducting the test. Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Prof.S.Ramachandram thanked the University Grants Commission for granting permission to conduct SET examination.

SET examination is conducted for appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Education Institutions of Telangana State.
