Muddukrishnama Says YSRCP Creating Hurdles - Polavaram Project
Hyderabad, Dec.28 : TDP senior leader and MLC Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu today alleged that YSRCP is creating hurdles in the construction of Polavaram project.
Speaking to the media Muddukrishnama Naidu asserted that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu was determined to come out from all problems and complete the Polavaram project by 2018. But YSRCP leaders are always criticizing the steps taken by TDP government for completion of the project and trying to create hurdles, he alleged adding that the cost of the project has gone up to Rs 40,000 crore due to inept handling of YSR government for construction of this project.
If Polavaram project is completed, water can be provided to irrigate 25 lakh acres in Rayalaseema, the TDP leader said and alleged that YSRCP leaders don’t want completion of this for their selfish political gain and spreading false information.
He said this year also 1000 tmc of Godavari river water went waste in to sea. But the chief minister is determined to use this water by completion of Polavaram project and other measures for which YSRCP leaders are trying to prevent for political mileage.
