Kapil Dev Defends Dhoni As 'ODI Captain'

Chennai: Legendary cricketer and former Indian captain Kapil Dev opines that ODI skipper MS Dhoni posses lot of experience and expertise and should continue as limited overs captain.

As Test Captain Virat Kohli doing extremely many people whispering and suggesting that time has arrived for MS Dhoni to handed over the ODI captaincy to Virat.

But Kapil said "are we ready to tell MS Dhoni to take a back seat, I think if he has good fitness he should carry on. When the time arrives Dhoni may quit from all the 3 formats."

Kapil further said "Indian fielding department has improved a lot since our era. But we should understand that all the 11 players are not the same every time. At present 2-3 brilliant fielders are with the team."
