Jayalalithaa's Death, Actress Gautami Asks PM Modi To Probe

Chennai: Film actress Gautami Tadimalla has aired her concern on the 'isolation and secrecy' over the illness, treatment, reported recovery and death of late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalithaa. She has written a blog post addressing PM Modi, sought his intervention in unearthing the truth behind the circumstances which eventually lead to CM Jayalalithaa's death. She said " Jayalaithaa's death is all the more unsettling and tragic because of the events occurred over the past few months. The sheer volume of unanswered questions about our late CM’s hospitalisation, treatment, reported recovery and very sudden passing. There has been a near complete blanketing of information regarding these matters." Gautami further wrote “Nobody had been allowed access to Jayalalithaa and many dignitaries were denied an opportunity to convey their wishes in person. Why this secrecy and isolation of a beloved public leader and the head of the government? What/whose authority restricted access to the late CM? Who were the concerned persons making the decisions about her treatment and care when her health was apparently in such a delicate state? Her questions echo the voice of people of Tamil Nadu, who still unable to digest the demise of their beloved 'Amma' Jayalalithaa. AIADMK responded to Gautami's concern and told that there is no conspiracy behind CM Jayalaithaa's death and struck down all her queries.
