Italian origin woman accuses sadhu of harassing her

Vrindavan, Nov 1 (IANS) Authorities here Saturday launched a probe after a 65-year-old Italian origin woman accused a sadhu of harassing her and making lewd gestures. In her complaint, Braj Basi Devi Dasi said the sadhu (holy man) - Nitai Das - also threatened to attack her with acid. Mathura senior superintendent of police Manzil Saine told IANS that police is probing the complaint by Braj Basi Devi Dasi, who has been living in Vrindavan for the past 40 years. The woman originally hails from Italy but is now an Indian citizen.
