Manmohan Speech - 2 lakh views in less than a day

During the debate over currency demonetisation issue in Rajya Sabha, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh intervened and made some fierce attack on government decision and termed it as a 'monumental management failure' 'organised loot' and 'legalised plunder' of the economy. Youtube video of Manmohan's speech has got more than 2 lakh views in less than a day. Media also gave extensive coverage to his remarks. NDA ally Shiva Sena also advised GOI to take a note of Mr.Singh's comments. It seems Dr.Manmohan Singh making a active comeback in public life. Actually he is to begin a teaching task at his Alma mater, Punjab University. New Delhi based political analyst N. Bhaskara Rao says " Dr.Singh must have analysed that this was an appropriate time which involves an issue very much familiar to him. His speech was brief but very much impressive and the best choice to put the Congress point of view over the issue" In his brief 7 minute analytical speech filled with political barbs and economic terms Dr.Singh's intervention got public attention. A video of his speech shared by Congress official YT channel registered more than 2 lakh views in less than a day.
