Govt Not Given Permission for ‘Beach Love Fest’: Prathipati

Chilukaluripet, Nov.6: Andhra Pradesh State Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has stated that the government has not yet accorded permission to the proposed ‘Beach Love Festival’ at Visakhapatnam. After laying foundation stones for several developmental works worth Rs.1.73 crore in Chilukaluripet in Guntur district here on Sunday, Pullarao made it clear that the TDP government will not take up any program that dishonors women. The government will stand in first place in protecting the culture and traditions. The Minister opined that meetings like ‘Jai Andhra Pradesh’ conducted by the YSRCP in Vizag, be carried out in Delhi. He said that the government would make the police arrest Prof. Laxmi, who was alleged to be the reason for the death of Guntur Medical student Sandhya Rani. The government will initiate action as per law against businessmen indulging in preparing spurious oil and Mirchi powder, he said. The government released G.O.No.56 banning the use of wastage of Chicken farms for growing fish and prawns.
