Andhra Pradesh resolves to observe Rededication Week
While Telangana is celebrating its Second Formation Day in grand style, Andhra Pradesh is to focus on the unscientific manner in which the Combined State has been split apart. Stating that the AP division was not done on the expected lines, the Chandrababu Naidu government would be observing Rededication Week, when the issues would be put up before the people and their participation in the plight of the State brought to the fore. The AP government brought out a seven-day schedule for the people's observation wherever they are. Starting at 11 am on Thursday, the people are expected to take a pledge on the reconstruction of Andhra Pradesh. On Friday, the people are expected to focus on the unscientific lines on which the State was divided and its impact on AP. On Saturday, the people are expected to focus on the achievements of the State. Sunday is set apart for agriculture development and water resources. On June 6, the steps needed for industrial development of the State should be brought into focus. On June 7, wherever the people are, they should discuss about the human resources development. June 7 or 8 will be observed as State Resolve day, centred round either Rajahmahendravaram or Ongole. After that, the ministers and officials would discuss the revenue deficit of the State and developmental issues.
