Indonesia volcano eruption kills six persons
About six persons were killed and several other persons were injured when an active volcano was erupted in Western Indonesia.
As a result, hot ash and gases are being released into the atmosphere. WIth this, the people in neighbouring villages were vacated.
In spite of several eruptions in the past,the people there have to go to the area only for farming.
All the injured persons belongs to Gamber village. The volcano, located in Sumatra island, erupted completely about 400 years ago. Several smaller eruptions of the volcano took place in the last three years.
In the eruption in 2014, about 16 persons were killed.
There are 129 active volcanoes in Indonesia.
