'BJP leaders should talk responsibly on capital'

Andhra Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister Ayyanna Patrudu commented that BJP leaders should not talk irresponsibly on Amaravati, the proposed capital of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at the Mini Mahanadu of the Telugu Desam Party in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, he demanded the centre to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that all of them would built the capital far better than Delhi. He should keep up his promise on the same," said the minister. The minister said that elections to Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation would be held in September or October. He asked the party cadre to be ready for the elections. In the program, the ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Kollu Ravindra and others participated.
