TS govt urges centre to revive CCI
Hyderabad, May 12: Telangana Ministers Jogu Ramanna and A Indrakaran Reddy today urged the Centre to revive Cement Corporation of India (CCI) –a cement factory in the State.
The two ministers called on Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Sector Enterprises in the national capital and urged him to take immediate steps to revive the CCI. They also urged the Union minister to provide funding to construct 12 backward class welfare hostels in the State. They also sought help to address the problems in Adilabad district.
Later, Anant Geete said a meeting will be called in June to discuss the issues brought to his notice
