TRS enjoys plenary festival amid TS drought: Cong

While the people of Telangana are reeling under the effects of drought, the ruling TRS government is enjoying party plenary celebrations. This regret was expressed by TPCC president Uttamkumar Reddy on Wednesday. Uttam met governor ESL Narasimhan along with Congress leaders in this regard. They told the Governor that the TRS government was negligent of the drought situation. They regretted the callous attitude of the government. Later talking to newsmen, Uttam wondered how the government could celebrate its pleanary when the state was reeling under drought. The TRS, which was all enthusiasm while roping in MLAs from other parties, had no such commitment in mitigating the suffering of the drought-affected people. He said government measures to tackle the situation were zero. The TPCC president demanded an all-party meeting to meet with the drought situation.
