Flipkart chief product executive Punit Soni quits

Bengaluru, April 13: Chief product executive Punit Soni of e-tail major Flipkart has resigned, a company source said on Wednesday. "Soni has put in his papers," the source told IANS after the company's official spokesman failed to respond to calls and messages for confirmation. A high-profile former Google executive from Silicon Valley in the US, Soni returned to India and joined Flipkart a year ago. Soni's exit comes months after the company's e-commerce platform head Mukesh Bansal and chief business executive Ankit Nagori resigned early this year.
