HC bans outsiders from HCU campus

The Telangana High Court on Tuesday banned the holding of meetings by outsiders on the Hyderabad Central University campus, as it might disturb the peace. The High Court was hearing a petition by Prof. Gali Vinodkumar who complained that the elements interested in disturbing the peace on the campus were trying to hold meetings there. In response, the court said the outsiders should be barred from the HCU. If you allow outsiders, there is a danger of disturbing the peace on the campus. The colurt further said that organising of meetings and conferences by outsiders is also banned. Ever since the suicide by research scholar Rohith Vemula, political parties and leftists have been having a field day on the HCU campus.
