Big Applause for Padmasree Rajamouli
As `Baahubali' maker Rajamouli received the Padmasri award from the hands of President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday morning, there was all round applause from everyone seated in the Rashtrapati Bhavan hall. Those who greeted Rajamouli receiving the award with applause included Bollywood acrtress Priyanka Chopra, Kollywood Star Rajnikant and newspaper baron Ramoji Rao. Rama Rajamouli, who was among the audience, was particularly delighted as her husband received the award. Ramoji Rao and Rajnikant were awarded with Padmavibhushan at the investiture ceremony. The other Padmavibhushan recipients inluded Vasudev Kalkunte Atre, Girijadevi and oncologist Vishwanathan Shanta. Dr Mannam Gopichand of Star Hospitals in Hyderabad was among those who received Padmasree.
