Storms to hit Britain Monday

London, Oct 5 : Stormy conditions are set to hit parts of Britain Monday, with strong winds and heavy rain bringing the risk of travel disruption and flooding, the Guardian reported Sunday. The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for rain and wind. According to forecasters, exposed areas in Wales, north-west England, eastern parts of Northern Ireland and western and northern parts of Scotland could witness gusts of up to 70mph.
