Good news for Shirdi Saibaba devotees, airport coming up

Good news for Saibaba devotees: Shirdi is going to have an airport nearby. The Maharashtra Airports Development Company is going to set up the airport near Shirdi by August. The airport runway will be 2,500 metres long and 45 metres wide. The terminal for the airport is also being set up. Airport control tower and water and electricity facilities are about to be set up for the airport. Chartered airplanes will be allowed on the airport. This will be great for the Saibaba lovers who are generally well to do. So far, Shirdi has been linked by road and rail, and now it will have air link also.
