Music anchor Nirosha commits suicide

A TV music channel anchor, Nirosha, aged 23, committed suicide in her PG Hostel room in the Sindhi colony in Secunderabad in the early hours of Wednesday. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code and are investigating. TV channels say Nirosha had worked as a reporter with another channel as a reporter before she became music TV anchor. The police suspect that a lover affair might have been the cause of her suicide. They said that she had rung up someone 10 minutes before she took the extreme step and the police were trying to ascertain the identity of the concerned person. For the post-mortem examination, Nirosha's body had been sent to the Gandhi hospital.
