Dy CM Rajappa assures Kapus of loans, jobs

The TDP government is committed to the welfare of the Kapu community, AP Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa reiterated on Saturday. Launching a Kapu credit mela in Anantpur, Rajappa said all Kapus who had sought loans would be given loans. As for their jobs, he said the government was making efforts to fill the vacancies in various departments. A notification was shortly going to be issued in this regard. However, he said the investigations were continuing into the large-scale arson and violence during the Kapu Unity Roar meeting in Tuni. Kapu leader Mudrgada Padmanabham has insisted that loans be also given to the Kapu leaders who had taken part in the Tuni meeting. He alleged that Kapu loans were being slectively given to those wearing yellow shirts (TDP leaders).
