Dhansikaa plays gangster in 'Kabali'

Chennai, March 5: Actress Dhansikaa, who will be seen as superstar Rajinikanth's daughter in "Kabali", is said to be essaying the role of a gangster in the film, slated to hit the screens this summer. "Dhansikaa plays a Thai-based gangster and has her own gang. She plays a brat of a daughter who has serious issues with her father," a source from the film's unit told IANS. For her role, Dhansikaa has undergone drastic transformation. "She sports a boy cut and plays a character that's very different from anything she has played so far in her career," he said. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film also stars Radhika Apte, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Ritwika. Produced by Kalaipuli S. Thani, "Kabali" has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
