Muralimohan, actor, denies land deals with Chandrababu

Former actor Muralimohan, MP, has clarified that he has no dealings with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Talking to newsmen in the wake of fradulent Amaravati land deals bomb exploded by the YCP, Muralimohan said he had purchased only 7 acres near Vijayawada. He had to make the clarification as reports said Nara Lokesh, TDP Chief General Secretary, had purchased about 500 acres in the Capital region. He said the `Sakshi' daily had falsely alleged that he had purchased lands in the region in benami names. If anyone could prove that he had had dealings with Chandrababu Naidu, Muralimohan had reminded that if the charges proved true, he had warned that he would commit suicide before the Assembly building. This was not the first time that he was facing such allegations. Previously, both the late leaders, YS Rajasekhar Reddy and P Janardan Reddy, had charged him with shady transactions with Chandrababu Naidu, and had failed to prove their charges. The former actor said he had been in real estate business since 1993, but he had never purchased lands in dispute.
