You burnt your own home, chess champ tells her Jat elders
Anuradha Beniwal, India's National Chess Champion and the Thinking Bird, has hit out at her Jat community for burning their own homes.
The self-goal by the Jats, with cricketer Virender Sehwag and boxer Vijender Singh in their ranks, was their going on a burning spree in Haryana, setting fire to railway stations, malls, petrol stations and everything in their sight. The self-goal was brought forth by Anuradha in her tweets.
The Jats seeking Backward Class status have been told by Anuradha that they have burnt their own homes virtually.
Born in Meham, near Rohtak, she said the mayhem by Jats was like setting Haryana aflame. `We have to extinguish that fire.' She praised her chess coaches who taught her without regard to caste or creed.
`I am all for protesting for rights, but no one has the right to start riots,' the thinking bird told the Jats.
But what could a thinking bird do when birds of prey are flying all round in Haryana?
