Hang politicians invoking Afzal Guru, says Judge who signed the Death Warrant

Justice SS Dhingra, who signed death warrant of Afzal Guru for treason, wants all politicians who supported the mastermind of the attack on Parliament to be hung also. Justice Dhingra was the Delhi High Court Judge when he signed Afzal Guru's death warrant. Jawaharlal Nehru Students Union organized a meeting in support of traitor Afzal Guru on February 9. The students raised anti-India slogans at will. Cases of treason were filed against six of them, including students union president Kanhaiya Kumar. The Opposition such as the Congress, the CPI and the CPIM rose in protest. At the turn of treacherous events, a TV channel interviewed Justice Dhingra. Justice Dhingra said flatly that the politicians supporting a rank traitor like Afzal Guru also deserved to be hanged. The Judge found fault with the JNU students and their fellow-travellers who described traitor Afzal's hanging as `judicial hanging.' He said the Constitution permitted hanging of those who bring death to the people. This Constitutional principle had to be recognized by all. Those who swear by Dr BR Ambedkar's Constitution to get elected should heed the principle.
