All set for Railway Budget 2016

All is set for the presentation of the Railway Budget 2016, with Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha leaving for Parliament to make a presentation of their proposals on Thursday. Earlier, the budget papers were scanned by a dog squad at an elaborate ceremony. The ministers left for Parliament in their limousine. As in the previous years, there may not be much to write home about as regarding the proposals for AP or Telangana, except for a project here or a project there. While the Railways have been making profits from the zone, it is due to lack of effective leadership that the region had been suffering from year to year as regards the railways. Wherever the Railway Minister hails from, all the new trains will run only in that direction. Be it Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar or whoever. it maybe news that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had been offered the Railway Ministry by Dr Manmohan Singh when he was Prime Minister, but KCR opted for a lighter ministry of labour.
