Who funded you? Umar Khalid of JNU grilled by police

According to the Delhi police sources, nine questions were asked of Jawaharlal Nehru University students, Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, who had surrendered to the police in the small hours of Wednesday. The nine questions are the following: 1. Where were you all these days when the police have filed cases and looking out for you? 2. Who bore the expenses for your illegal activities? 3. Did you take permission from the authorities for the February 9 meeting, when Parliament attack case convict Afzal Guru was eulogised and anti-india slogans were raised? 4. Did you raise all the anti-india slogans? 5. Who had helped you to go into hiding? 6. Who all raised anti-India slogans? 7. Did Kanhaiya Kumar, JNU president, raise anti-India slogans? 8. Did outsiders come to the February 9 meeting? Who were they? 9. Did you organise such meetings earlier also? Once the police get answers to these questions, they are going to go deeper into the issue to get at the root of the JNU rot.
