Kashmiri mosques play music to Pompore encounter

Even as the Pompore encounter between the suspected Lashkar-e-Toyyiba terrorists and the Security forces was going on for 3 days till Monday evening, the mosques in the area started blaring pro-Pakistan songs. The three terrorists who occupied the Entrepreneurial Development Institute in South Kashmir and started shooting at the Security forces had after 3 days of fighting been shot dead. During the entire period, the mosques in the area played songs, as if there was such sanction, and music. The songs the Kashmiri mosques played included `Jive Jive Pakistani,' `Jago Jago subh huyi,' `Hum kya chahte -- Azadi' and so on. The Mullas and Maulanas instead of enjoying song and dance should see the condition of the EDI before and after the terror fight. The white and green institute was spick and span and resplendent as the Indian authorities built it. The encounter, after the mullas and maulanas played the pro-Pakistan songs, shows Kashmiriyat in such poor light that they would wish themselves elsewhere. Not only Pompore, the music was played by mosques in nearby Frestabal, Drangbal, Kadlabal and Sompora. It's possible that the mullas and maulanas had been sheltering and hosting these terrorists before playing music to their terror acts.
