`Good news for Delhi', as water supply is restored

`Good news for you Delhi,' Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on Monday. The good news is the Army took control of the Munak canal that supplies water to Delhi from Haryana. Earlier, holding the State to ransom, the Jats had, among other things, disrupted the lifeline of water supply to Delhi. At 7 a.m., when there was no water supply, Arvind tweeted to the Centre to restore the water supply. Immediately, the Army moved out and took control of the water supply at the behest of the Centre. Arvind tweeted, `Good news for you Delhi, Munak canal gates are now opened. Don't know how long it would take water to reach Delhi. Shall let you know when water would be supplied. Great relief,' he added. Arvind is used to blaming the Prime Minister for all the ills in Delhi. If that were so, he would have done good by acknowledging the credit where its due, the Prime Minsiter. The NDA-led BJP government is one that acts, and does not put roadblocks like the others do.
