Quarreling couple reunites as wife says no divorce

A couple seeking divorce for the past four-and-a-half years went home along with their two children in a happy ending following counselling by the judge, which is perhaps rare in the family courts. The patient Judge gave 3-hour counselling to the couple who were divided on the issue of divorce. While the husband Rajgopal of Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam was insistent on divorce, the wife looking after the bringing up of two children had refused. She had continuously evaded presenting her case to the court, except for stating repeatedly she wanted the continuance of the marriage. Meanwhile, judges have changed and the Rajagopal case continued on court records till a new judge, A. Parthasarathy, took over. Judge Parthasarathy got the entire family seated before him and talked to the couple. He heard them and talked to them for 3 hours. The counselling resulted in the man and wife filing applications for restitution of conjugal rights. What's more, the couple embraced. The happy family of man, wife and two children went home together. The happy ending is regarded as a record in the annals of family courts.
