Roja suspension issue videos doctored, says YCP

Srikant Reddy, YCP leader, who was on the Buddhaprasad Committee that went into the Roja suspension issue, on Friday came out of the panel meeting to say doctored videos were being used to continue mudslinging on the opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh. He said the treasury benches had behaved in a one-sided manner in regard to Roja who was suspended for 1 year from attending the Assembly proceedings. He accused the treasury benches of manufacturing doctored videos in connection with Roja's suspension. Ministers Achchen Naidu and Kalva Srinviasulu and senior TDP leaders Butchiah Chowdary and Bonda Uma had also used intemperate language, but no action was taken against them, he added. Srikant Reddy said he had given his dissent note to the committee. The Buddhaprasad committee was tasked with going into the Roja affair, making it open to the committee to take more severe action on the YCP leader.
