As sober as woman judge in New York

As sober as a judge, is not just a saying. Letitia Anastasia is a Judge of New York caught in a drunken drive at the week-end. The Judge was going in her car to the court last week. The way her car was meandering, the State Troopers of New york suspected something was wrong. As they stopped the car, to their shock they found that she was as sober as a judge. She was fully sozzled. The State Troopers immediately arrested her and diverted the car to the court to be in the witness box and not on the elevated table. Monroe Country District Attorney Sandra Durley said the case was adjourned for hearing in March. By the weekend, Letitia as judge was replaced. In the incident, neither the sober judge nor New York's Law Department has given any statement.
