Padmanabham talks with Govt negotiator

The Andhra Pradesh government is negotiating with Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham by sending its representative Boddu Bhaskararao. They met on Friday night, when Bhaskararao conveyed the government proposals to Padmanabham. Revealing this, the Kapu leader said he had sought certain amendments to the proposals. At this, Bhaskararao told him he would get back after conveying the same to the government. Padmnabham said he would not mind coming down by one step if it would do good to his Kapu community. Padmanabham is continuing his fast-unto-death with his wife Padmavathy at their Kirlampudi residence. The Kapu leader, however, said if there was no positive reply from the State government, he would continue his fast.
