Old lady's gesture for Amaravati

An old lady, Muppavarapu Swarajyam, has deposited Rs.1 crore for the construction of the Andhra capital at Amaravati. She belongs to Takkellapadu in Guntur district. While Swarajyam has deposited the money in a bank, she says she will personally hand over the money to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Swarajyam said the new capital at Amaravati should be built in such a manner that it will be a matter of pride for the Telugus. She praised the efforts of the Chief Minister in this regard. Amaravati is an ancient Buddhist site. It is planned to be resurrected and modernized with water fronts and sky-rise buildings.
